The Harvest

After some recent storms, a cow washed up on the shores of San Rafael by my work. It was bloated, juicy and had a prolapsed uterus or something hanging out of it's vadge. The cow and it's vadge bag was surreal, beautiful, and nasty. It was the inspiration for this piece, and partial insperation for my first post, "Rebirth". POW!!!!!!

Someday I will regale my kids with stories of the vag bag. Always thought the flies were a nice touch.

1)I'm thinkin the apocalyptic nature of the third triptych panel from Hieronymus Bosch's Garden of Earthly Delights. 2) I'm feelin the sensitivity of Odd Nerdrum's Burned Alive. 3) And final, a sudden urge for a cheesy angus bacon burger at Burger King, w/ no onions....weird.- Dub

i was going to comment on how awesome this piece is - which IT IS. but now i have to also comment on how awesome annie fix's comment is - her thomas kinkade joke is pretty sweet. so back to your harvest piece: awesome and creepy rolled into one and tied with a bow. how you do it, i'm not even sure.
