Good Bye 2K

Last Friday was my final day at 2K Marin. I worked there for about 2 and a half years. While at 2K I got a chance to work on some cool projects like Bioshock 2 and XCOM with some very passionate people. Overall it was a very good experience. This past Monday was my 1st day at my new job as a Senior Concept Designer on a feature at Lucasfilm Animation. So far I'm loving the new gig. I'll post some more of my Bioshock 2 artwork soon and some of my XCOM art when appropriate. ;)

SUPERMAN!!!!

One of my favorite moments in cinema is during the climax of the Iron Giant when the giant utters the word "Superman" as he sacrifices himself to save the world. It's poetic, heroic, beautiful. This painting is kind of the same thing, but crappy and gross and ridiculous. On a completely different note, oh my shit I can't wait for the season finale of Breaking Bad this Sunday on AMC. What an amazing show, good lord it's so friggin' good.
