Go out and buy Imagine FX Issue 51, out in the UK now, available in the U.S soon. Imagine FX is a pretty sweet art mag stuffed full of art-nerd goodness. This issue focuses on Character Design. It has tutorials and features artists like Dave Dorman, Antonio Caparo, and a 6 page article about yours truly. I'm stoked just to be asked to be in such a cool magazine. Check it out- POW!!!!!
Just found this sketch of "Jimmy the Clown" (previous post) from my days back at SJSU.
Here's a portrait I painted of my buddy Ian "Jimmy" Ameling done in oil back when we were in art school together. Ah those were the days, back when clowns could smoke cigarettes and not be constantly harassed by the man. Found this image when I was looking in some old folders, just thought I'd share.
